Position Overview:
We seek an Estimator with hydrocarbon project experience and strong tender submission skills. The candidate will accurately estimate costs for mechanical systems in construction projects. This role involves working on diverse projects and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to achieve successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical systems. Ensure thorough understanding of project requirements.
- Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, negotiate pricing, and evaluate proposals for hydrocarbon-specific materials. Ensure cost control and quality.
- Prepare and present estimates to clients, clearly explaining cost breakdowns. Lead the tender submission process, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and building codes, particularly in hydrocarbon projects.
- Expertise in tender submission processes, with a demonstrated track record of successful tender wins.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and materials pricing in the hydrocarbon sector.
