Position Summary
Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, income tax returns and business activity statements for Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of SMSF’s financial reports, income tax returns and business activity statements in accordance with all current legal and accounting reporting standards
- Preparation of a source documents file that supports the SMSF’s financial reports to support the audit of the reports in line with RSM policies & procedures
- Support senior team members with management of client relationships
- Assist with administration support for SMSF clients such as scanning and managing electronic filing of documents.
Education Requirements:
Essential
- Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major
Desirable
- Completed or working towards completion of CA or equivalent
- Completed SMSF specialist course
Demonstrated Experience & Attributes
- 1-2 years in a similar role
- Experience with Class Super or similar
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
