Smt Operator

Our client is an Australian company recognized for making world-class air conditioners. Their wide range of reliable and energy efficient products includes wall hung splits, multi head units, cassettes, low profile ducted systems, split ducted systems, and packaged units. They are Australia owned and operated meaning that these units are built specifically for our own conditions, also being able to provide support all around Australia.
Responsibilities:

• Proficient operation of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain smooth and efficient operation of the SMT production line.
• Perform PCB assembly tasks with precision and efficiency.
• Operate all relevant machinery, tools, and equipment safely and in accordance with work instructions and operational procedures.
• Swiftly replenish supplies and components to facilitate efficient job changeovers.
• Conduct meticulous self-checks to maintain a defect-free work environment.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience in Surface Mount Technology operation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, complemented by proficiency in tooling and fixtures.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting instructions, process documents, and drawings.
• Proficiency in computer literacy.
