We are currently recruiting Underground Charge Up Operators to join our high performing team on the Snowy 2.0 project. These roles are permanent/full time.You will be specifically trained and supported to operate our MCU's (Mobile Charge Units), which are highly advanced medium rigid vehicles fitted with the latest technologies and onboard computer systems to deliver bulk explosives at underground mine sites.This really is an incredible opportunity to work with a world leader in innovative blasting technologies, experience training and learn from some of our most experienced blasting professionals and develop an exciting career path with a company who genuinely supports your ambitions.The roster will be 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, the salaries are very healthy, and accommodation and meals are provided. Due to the remote location of the project preference will be given to DIDO candidates, or FIFO from the East Coast of Australia or Victoria.What you will be doing

• First and foremost, demonstrating and setting the example of our key company value: 'Safety is our Priority, Always';
• Operating our MCU Vehicles (Mobile Charge Unit) and other associated blasting plant machinery;
• Assisting with preventative maintenance on all associated Plant and Machinery;
• Assisting with the 'hands-on' delivery of explosive products into pre-drilled blast holes;
• Working in tight unison with your teammates to provide excellence in service to our valued customers;
• At all times acting with integrity and respect.

What you will bring

• A current Medium Rigid (MR) drivers licence, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement;
• Previous experience with Orica MCU or Hypercharge™ units using LOADPlus™ (highly regarded);
• 2+ Years' experience with production charging using emulsion based products (preferred);
• Current SSAN security clearance or ability to obtain;
• Ability to pass all required security checks in which to obtain a Dangerous Goods licence;
• An excellent, positive and team-based attitude where you look out for your mates;
• Basic mechanical comprehension is desirable.
