In this role, you'll:
Assist with the delivery of the full range of internal and external strategic communication and stakeholder engagement services for major projects in the development and construction space.
Embrace the challenge of a role with variety as you provide advice and services across relevant project teams to develop plans, strategies, and materials. You will work collaboratively to understand and project status, timelines, events, and milestones, and how it impacts the community in order to effectively communicate it.
You’ll facilitate meetings, coordinate and drive events, workshops, and community consultation activities. You’ll take customer feedback and info and ensure it is distributed to the relevant parties appropriately.
Reporting to the Community & Customer Engagement Manager, you will work in a role that gives you the opportunity to make your own. This opportunity is hybrid role, is based out of Wollongong and has the expectation of some time spent in the office and potentially attending project locations, which are located on the South Coast (between Nowra and the Victorian border).

About you
You’re someone that is comfortable in a complex environment like Government. You have strong experience in the communications and engagement space with time spent in a construction, development or planning space being most advantageous. You’ll also have proven abilities to manage competing priorities, liaise with multiple stakeholders, and process driven.
To succeed in this role you will have an adaptable nature, strong interpersonal skills, and a real passion for having a positive impact on your community
