Your new company
Hays Technology are supporting a key client, based in Brisbane, to build a new team for an exciting Defence project. Multiple roles are available. This position is for an experienced System Administrator. A minimum current NV2 Clearance is required for this position due to the sensitive nature of the project.
Your new role
You'll be part of a brand-new team, carefully put together to enhance and expand a current complex, secure network. You're a Microsoft & VMware wizard with a security mindset.
Some of your day-to-day activities include:
- System administration across compute, storage, networking, firewalls, client delivery services and infrastructure applications
- Root-cause analysis and technical support
- Backup and disaster recovery (planning and maintenance)
Other roles available within this team include: Network Administrators, Infrastructure Solution Architect, and GRC Specialist. All requiring NV2 Clearance
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you'll have come from an Australian Defence background with experience in:
- Implementing and administrating complex, high-assurance systems that are security focused
- Windows Server
- Backup, Storage and hypervisors, including VMware, Veeam and Pure Storage
- Identity Management, Multi-Factor Authentication

What you'll get in return
On offer is a generous salary, based on your skills and experience, between $130,000 - $140,000 + Super and additional employee benefits. Although the organisation values a flexible working environment, due to the nature of the work, one day WFH is on offer. These roles are based in the heart of the Brisbane CBD.
