What we're looking for.
As the Social Content Producer at Mamamia, your primary focus will be on our chart-topping flagship podcast, Mamamia Outloud. You will play a pivotal role in crafting and amplifying the Mamamia Outloud brand presence across diverse social media platforms, ensuring its continued success and resonance with our audience.
Your creativity and strategic vision will be key in crafting content that not only aligns with the Mamamia Outloud distinctive tone but also captivates our audience on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. This dynamic role requires a combination of content creation, community management, and staying ahead of industry trends to ensure Mamamia remains at the forefront of social media engagement.
Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:
- Content Creation & execution - Film, edit, and produce captivating reels optimised for Instagram and TikTok, incorporating trending music, effects, and editing techniques
- Community management - Engage with the audience on Instagram and TikTok by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, fostering a positive and interactive community around the brand.
- Provide regular feedback to the wider content team with insights and learnings from audience feedback- Effectively moderate assigned channels and escalate as required
- Commercial and Subscription - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging features incorporating innovative ideas into content strategies.
Now, a bit about you.
- Absolute passion for Socials and an understanding of audience
- Demonstrated understanding of creating content including short-form video for Instagram Reels, Stories, Grid and TikTok.
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar social media content creator role
- Ability to plan and manage competing deadlines and priorities
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive and solutions-focused attitude
- Sound knowledge of social media best practices and the changing social media landscape
- Demonstrated knowledge and interest in podcasts, digital trends, digital media and emerging technologies
