They are now looking for a Social Media and Digital Content Producer to join their Media and Communication Team in Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra
This will be an initial months engagement to the end of the financial year and likely to extend.
You will be a Social Media and Digital producer with experience in campaigns, content development and community management.
The role is part of a small, high-performing team which develops and executes Social Media strategy to support education, corporate communications and marketing objectives.
You will be responsible for supporting content development and planning, publishing and scheduling, reporting and analysis, community management and contributing to ongoing strategy development and execution.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- monitor Social Media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter (X), Facebook, Instagram
- play an active role in community management by assessing and responding to direct messaging, or escalating them internally, in a timely manner
- ensure tone of voice is adopted to protect the brand and to maximise engagement with key audiences
- liaise and brief internal graphic design services to create bespoke, optimised, and engaging content for social channels that will drive traffic to our corporate website
- take lead on scheduling organic social content both natively and utilising social marketing tools
- support copywriting needs for content across social platforms and audiences
- prepare monthly and campaign-based reporting for organic and paid activity
- demonstrate a working knowledge of government and/or NGO operating environments
- Knowledge of Social Media platforms with experience delivering social campaigns
- Copywriting skills specific to short-form social posts
- Ability to brief and guide creative processes and outcomes
- Familiarity with Social Media management and Digital analytic tools
- Basic graphic design/Adobe Suite skills desirable.
- Ideal experience with Government/NGO or Agency
