The Position - Social Media Manager
We are an established entertainment company with multiple products such as poker and mahjong, that is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, experienced and creative Social Media Manager to manage our Social Media platforms.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing Social Media campaigns to engage our audiences, promote our products, increase participation and membership.
In this role, you will be responsible to:
- Act as the main point of contact for all our entertainment products, such as poker and mahjong, for all Social Media followers across the WeChat, Little Red Book, Facebook, Instagram, Douyin, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Create, manage and schedule engaging content (images, video, and copywriting) for Social Media platforms (including We Chat, Little Red Book, Facebook, Instagram, Douyin, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn) including capturing and re-sharing user-generated content (UGC).
- Respond to Social Media comments, enquiries and messages promptly and professionally.
- Develop and execute Social Media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, participation and new members.
- Monitor and evaluate Social Media performance, produce reports and recommend improvements.
- Provide a high level of customer service to members at all times.
- Monitor Social Media trends, news and emerging technologies and share relevant insights with the team.
- Use Social Media management tools to schedule and publish content.
- Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager

Requirements:
- Passion and experience in creating Social Media content for We Chat, Little Red Book, Facebook, Instagram, Douyin, Tik Tok, YouTube and LinkedIn, including but not limited to, taking photos and filming video content, editing and posting content (desirable).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent Customer service skills – must be a positive, friendly and outgoing person that enjoys talking to customers and can work under pressure
- Creative and strategic thinker.
- Familiarity with Social Media management tools.
- Effective organisational and time management skills with the flexibility to work to multiple deadlines.
- Experience with working in a customer focused service environment.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills. We expect potential candidates to be well groomed and reliable
- Speak English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)
- Have a valid drivers license
- Be competent in MS Word and Excel
- Available and capable of working days, nights, weekends, public holidays from time to time.
- Willing to travel around Sydney as required
