The Role
The Social Media Manager for our hospitality group plays a crucial role in driving our brand's presence and engagement across various Social Media platforms. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this role entails developing and executing Social Media strategies to enhance brand awareness, foster community engagement, and drive customer acquisition and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive Social Media strategies aligned with the overall marketing objectives and brand identity.
- Manage and maintain all Social Media accounts for the hospitality group, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Create and curate engaging content (including visuals, videos, and written copy) optimized for each Social Media platform to drive audience engagement, increase followers, and enhance brand affinity.
- Monitor and analyze Social Media performance metrics, including reach, engagement, and conversion rates, to optimize content and strategy continuously.
- Respond promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries on Social Media platforms, maintaining a positive and professional brand image.
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing to manage the Social Media budget, including paid advertising campaigns and sponsored content partnerships.
- Prepare regular reports on Social Media performance and present findings, insights, and recommendations to the leadership team
The ideal candidate should have the following skills, knowledge and attributes:
- Tertiary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in Social Media management.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing Social Media strategies that drive engagement, growth, and ROI.
- Proficiency in Social Media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity in content creation.
- Experience with Social Media advertising and budget management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a deep understanding of consumer behavior and trends.
