About Social Cut
Social Cut is a boutique creative agency, Headquartered in Brisbane, with Sydney and Gold Coast satellite offices, specialising in organic Social Media management and Social Media content creation. Founded in 2016, we're a young, dynamic team who live with a phone in one hand and a croissant in the other.
We're strong advocates of building better brands by creating connection through Social Media. We aim to live outside the box and weave the physical into the digital.
We work with medium enterprises that understand the need to engage their audiences in authentic two-way communication in the digital space. We also act in a consulting capacity with large scale companies and government departments to activate specific digital campaigns.

Our work week flips between “Summer” and “Winter” hours to make the most of the sunshine and out of the working week. We primarily work remotely so we can get life admin (i.e. the laundry) done without sacrificing the weekend.
Summer Hours: 8 - 5 Mon - Thurs + 9 - 1 Fri.
Winter Hours: 8.30 - 5 Mon - Thurs + 9 - 3 Fri

Position DescriptionJob Title: Account & Relationship Manager
Scope of Position
The Account & Relationship Manager is responsible for a broad range of duties in relation to the management and implementation of Social Cut’s Social Media offering. This person must have a love of the new, a passion for interactive trends, and an understanding of consumers and brands. The role requires an individual who has a demonstrated passion for digital marketing, Social Media and influencer management and the opportunities it presents for Social Cut’s clients.
The role requires excellent written/proof-reeding skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills. The role also requires strategic vision and an understanding of project and relationship management. The Account & Relationship Manager will work within the account management team.

Functional Tasks and Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the day to day relationship management of Social Cut’s clients
- To liaise with clients to receive feedback, campaign activation instructions and onboarding.
- To negotiate and manage client expectations and feedback.
- To work in conjunction with and manage the workflow of creative writing, design and content creation teams to develop content calendars for Social Media activity.
- To work with creative teams to develop, review and provide feedback for social ideas as required.
- To assist in planning, overseeing and leading projects and campaigns from ideation through to completion.
- To research consumer and Social Media trends, continually keeping across developments in Social Media and sharing this knowledge with the wider agency.
- To assist with the day-to-day management of client Social Media accounts, including scheduling, posting, engaging and moderating where necessary.
- To ideate, liaise and book influencer partnerships on behalf of our clients.
- Assess and regularly monitor interactive and Social Media assets the agency develops and manages for clients.
- To provide analytics and reporting for social communities
- To prepare weekly activities and maintain quality control of virtual assistants’ services, such as reviewing weekly scheduling activities.
- To prepare post-analysis of digital campaigns.
- To attend in-person client meetings as required.

- A minimum of 3 years of related experience (account management, customer/client relationship management, etc.).
- Proven ability to write and ideate content.
- Ideally agency experience and general enthusiasm for relationship management, PR, advertising, Social Media, branding and communications.
- Understanding of industry/market best practices and ability to incorporate these seamlessly in day-to-day agency processes.
