• The Newcastle Community Mental Health Service, based at the James Fletcher Hospital site, is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Social Worker to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
• We are a close-knit team focused on managing complex mental health cases. Our expertise is dedicated to offering holistic support and personalised interventions for our clients.
• Newcastle Mental Health Service provides an excellent orientation program. Supervision, education and training are all highly supported in this role.

About the role:

• This opportunity will see you provide a high quality clinical service to clients and their families/carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for consumers of the service. We passionately deliver client centred mental health care which is trauma informed.
• Develop your social work skills to empower communities through holistic health approaches in our integrated health initiatives.

Requirements:

• Must hold as a minimum a bachelor's degree in social work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
