2 full-time term contract vacancies, available up to 12 months.
The Social Worker position will work within South Australia Police (SAPOL)’s Child and Family Investigation Section, responsible for the provision of Social Work expertise in the areas of assessment, education, referral and follow-up, support and assistance to individuals and family groups. Working together with the members of SAPOL’s Child and Family Investigation Section team, the Social Worker role will enhance SAPOL’s ability to work closely with victims of domestic abuse and family groups to find solutions to systemic issues/failures within the family unit. This expertise will greatly increase SAPOL’s capabilities to manage the increasing workload and the complexities of domestic and child abuse investigations.

Special Conditions
- This position will work Monday – Friday on a rotating day and afternoon shift roster.
- The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check and a valid working with children clearance.
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work may be required.
Requirements
A Master of Social Work or Bachelor of Social Work Undergraduate degree level qualification, in Social Work with eligibility for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
Salary
AHP2 - $86,950 - $100,729 per annum
