  • Salary - Classification - AHP2 - Allied Health Professional L2 - $86,950 to $100,729 p.a
  • Employment Full time - Term Contract (27 Sep 2024 or 6 months from commencement)

About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Health Education Interface team (3D Health) team as aSocial Worker, where you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and professionals to address the social and emotional needs of students with disabilities and complex health issues in educational settings.
  • Providing case management, psychosocial assessments, and therapeutic counselling to clients and their families.
  • Independently working with families and professionals in both acute and community settings to implement necessary supports.
  • Delivering culturally appropriate, equitable, and high-quality social work services to clients referred to 3D Health throughout South Australia.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • The appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification, which gives eligibly for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Skill in various social work interventions such as psychosocial assessments, advocacy, therapeutic support, and case management.
  • The ability to coordinate services for clients with complex psychosocial and health needs.
  • The capability to work independently, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
  • A collaborative attitude in multidisciplinary team environments, showing personal initiative and judgment.
