Applications Close: 31 Macrh 2024What you'll be doingTo provide high quality evidence based clinical services to Mental Health consumers including assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison and review as part of a multidisciplinary team for adults referred to the service with a mental illness or disorder. These interventions will be based on an appropriate model of practice as specified by the individual’s professional background, skills, and experience and will be informed by evidence based treatment guidelines. To work effectively with consumers, families and services to provide/co-ordinate high quality strengths based assessment, treatment and management.All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). • Demonstrated experience in Mental Health Assessment, risk assessments, planning skills, intervention and treatment evaluation; that are relevant to the provision of recovery focused Mental Health Services.
• A commitment to a consumer focused recovery-oriented approach and consumer collaboration in care planning.
• Demonstrated high level of communication skills, both written and oral.
• Computer skills that would support the position and NSW Health requirements.
• Demonstrated skills in time management.
• Current unrestricted Class C drivers licence.
