What's on offer?Permanent Part-time position, 64 hours per fortnight.
Remuneration package based on full-time equivalent value of up to $128,635 p.a., comprising base salary range of $62.75 - $67.53 p.h. (HP3), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

About the role
- Deliver high level mental health and social work services and leadership within a multidisciplinary team including intake and assessment, intervention, case management duties and group work as required, in accordance with professional standards and legislation consistent with the Queensland Plan for Mental Health and the National Standards for Mental Health Services.
- Work collaboratively with consumers and multidisciplinary professionals to provide high level clinical care and a therapeutic environment conducive to the dignity and wellbeing of consumers and carers within the Mental Health Service Group (MHSG).
The Townsville Community Care (TCCU) and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Unit has accommodation for 34 consumers and provides a safe, respectful environment for rehabilitation with the goal of return to independent living in the community. All nursing staff ensure the provision of best practice and quality consumer care to consumers identifying and practicing the principles of recovery orientated rehabilitation.
Role requirements
- The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Social Work as well as eligibility for full membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class “C” motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
