Lismore Community & Allied Health has a vacancy for a Social Worker to join their Specialist Palliative Care team, providing clinical leadership and guidance in the planning, policy development, activity reporting and clinical service delivery of social work services for Specialist Palliative Care. Playing a key role in development of a consistent intake and allocation service, quality processes and the oversight of clinical supervision clinical supervision for the service. Working in collaboration with the manager to ensure the development, implementation, and review of clinical governance systems for social work services working in Specialist Palliative Care.
If you have/are:
- Relevant qualification in Social Work and eligible for membership of Social Work Association of Australia prior to commencing.
- Extensive clinical experience in providing social work services, psychosocial assessment, case planning, individual and family grief and loss counselling and bereavement counselling
- Ability to apply advanced clinical reasoning and ability to apply professional judgement when performing novel, complex or critical tasks.
- Clinical leadership in effective communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others

To be appointed as Level 4 Health Professional evidence must be provided of three years' clinical experience and demonstrated experience of extensive specialist knowledge or a high level of broad generalist knowledge within the discipline as defined by the award definitions of a level 4 Practitioner.
