Casual Social Worker to join our team!
About The Role
This position will suit a Social Worker with inpatient hospital experience or a graduate Social Worker who is keen to develop their skills in hospital social work.
The successful candidate will join a fast-paced acute medical environment to provide services to a wide variety of patients and their families inclusive of aged care, general medical and general surgical patients.
You will be responsible for the provision of a high standard of clinical care. Working in partnership with the allied health team, you will oversee evidence-based practice in a coordinated and efficient manner.
Your Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will possess:
- Social Work qualifications and eligibility for the AASW
- Capacity to work at least 20 hours per week
- Health Social Work experience preferred
- Excellent psychosocial assessment skills (Highly developed social work assessment and counselling skills) and a strong commitment to high quality care
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete activities within scope of practice

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
