Program and Position Overview
William Campbell Foundation (WCF) is a not for profit Christian organisation that provides a range of services, including permanency support programs for children and young people. Additionally, WCF delivers therapeutic services to children, young people, individuals and families.
WCF is committed to child safe practices and permanency outcomes for children and young people in care to provide a positive, safe and healing experience that addresses trauma, attachment, self-regulation, culture and community needs.
WCF’s Clinical Services Team are responsible for providing strengths based, trauma informed supports and therapeutic interventions to children and young people in out of home care.
Our practitioners are required to work collaboratively with caseworkers, carers and families to conduct assessments and implement appropriate supports.
We are currently taking applications from qualified Social Workers and Psychologists to join our well established, dynamic, and supportive team.
Key Position Requirements
Minimum of a Social Work Degree or as a Psychologist, registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant governing body.
Experience with working with children, young people and families, preferably within the community services sector.
Experience with therapeutic interventions, positive behaviour support strategies and assessments.
An understanding of current evidence based practice that focuses on development and attachment theories (ARC Model and Attachment Theory), child protection frameworks, and an ongoing desire to increase your skills and knowledge.
A high level of self motivation and desire to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.
Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check and NDIS Worker Check, a current unrestricted drivers licence and access to two referees from current or previous Managers (within the last 2 - 5 years).
