Your New Role

We are currently in the development phase of an innovative platform that mirrors our unique and effective approach to all facets of our business. Mk3 is seeking a dedicated Software Developer for a full-time, permanent position. Applicants should have comprehensive full-stack development experience, showcasing a solid track record in both front and back-end programming. The ability to work efficiently in an agile environment, along with strong design and architectural competencies, is crucial.

Role Responsibilities

• Working on the development of a fully integrated and flexible business software product using latest technologies
• Defining solutions by developing technical and end user documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, clear code and comments
• Developing software solutions based on business needs, work processes and systems flow
• Designing user interactions on the apps and services
• Creating web services and databases for functionality
• Ensuring cross-platform optimisation for various devices
• Ensuring highest possible cyber security in all developments
• Translating business logic requirements into code
• Designing and developing APIs and integrations
• Increasing efficiency and enhancing applications through process analysis, refinement, and continuous improvement
• Staying abreast of developments, web applications and programming languages

As a Full-Stack Developer, you will be involved in the design and development of full-stack desktop, web, mobile and cloud-based applications. This includes working with the team on further developing the design to ensure needs can be met through your development efforts in a timely, secure, stable, and scalable manner. Developing and integrating business systems to meet our requirements and enabling the efficient operational performance of systems will also be an integral component within the role.

Required Experience

• Ability to quickly understand and translate business processes and user workflows to perform options analysis and make recommendations on technical solutions
• Proficiency of object orientated programming skills with C#, .Net 6/.Net Core 3.1/.Net Maui and Web API
• Azure based cloud experience with Functions, Apps, Blobs, Service Buses and Microservices
• Experience with CI/CD tools/platforms and Source Code Control with Azure DevOps or Similar.
• Excellent command of Frontend technologies like HTML5, CSS3, Angular/React, TypeScript, JavaScript and jQuery
• Good understanding and adherence to SDLC processes, SOLID principles, OOPs and Design Patterns on new development / existing projects
• Experience with Entity Framework, EF Core, REST API Development
• Experience with mobile app development, iOS, Android and other mobile platforms
• Testing and problem solving skills
• SQL/Relational Database Design & Implementation with complex queries, stored procedures and functions
• Tertiary qualifications in a discipline relating to software development
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience including software development, design, and testing
• Experience in enterprise grade software in banking or insurance industries (Preferred)
