Job Description :
1. Design, develop, test, and document new and existing Software.
2. Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers to understand project requirements.
3. Design, develop and test software solutions using modern programming languages Python, Ruby, C++
4. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
5. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
6. Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
7. Stay updated on emerging technologies.
8. Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to understand their needs.
9. Understanding of design patterns, testing methodologies, and the software development lifecycle.
Desired Skills
- Experience with AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda and EBS.
- Working knowledge of relational databases with SQL.
- Experience in streamlining the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively, as part of a team as well as autonomously in an efficient manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL).
- Experience with interpreted languages: PHP, JavaScript, required.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Experience in the Financial, Banking or Insurance sector.
