As part of accomplishing this vision, the 99d Experience team, within the Logo and Brand domain, is responsible for parts of the 99designs website (https://99designs.com), including the designer and client collaboration experience and empowering customers to bring their designs to life as digital or physical products.
About The Role:
We are looking for a talented, committed and driven Software Engineer to join our product team. We are on the hunt for applicants who are passionate about what they do, possess hands on experience in design and development and can thrive in an agile environment.

- Designs, develops, tests, and deploys software.

- Automates tests and manual operational excellence tasks.
- Pairs effectively with other engineers.
- Participates constructively in team discussions.
- Provides high quality constructive feedback in code reviews and retrospectives.
- Shares skills with others on the team and seeks to learn new skills from others on the team.
- 4+ years of experience building enterprise software products in a team setting.
- Minimum 2 years commercial experience with a language like Golang, JavaScript, PHP or Ruby.
- Commercial experience with React or other recent Javascript web frameworks.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and infrastructure as code.
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- A passion for continuous learning and improvement to acquire the skills necessary for effectively executing your job.
- Good understanding of agile principles.
- A positive mindset: equal parts curious, collaborative, and can-do.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with the internal & external stakeholders to understand the business drivers, and articulate constraints and options.
