Join our innovative Product Engineering Team at Five9, where we are revolutionizing the contact center industry through practical AI solutions. Our Studio product stack, built on PHP, Python, and Vue.js technologies, leverages the latest cloud AI services from Google Speech, Dialogflow, IBM Watson, and Amazon Lex. Role: As a Software Engineer in the R&D AI Automation Team, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Studio software solutions. Your responsibilities will span across backend, front-end, and interaction management platforms, with a focus on delivering end-to-end features that enhance user experience and functionality. You'll collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and high-quality code delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in programming languages and frameworks to solve complex technical challenges and make informed decisions.
- Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code following coding best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the development stays on track and aligns with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP/Laravel, Python, Vue.js, or similar.
- Strong experience with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React.
- Expertise in server-side technologies, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and back-end frameworks like PHP Laravel framework.
- Awareness of web security best practices and ability to implement security measures.
- Portfolio showcasing full-stack development skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality code and solutions on time and within scope.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Contact Centre, IVR, Virtual Agents, VoIP, and telecommunications service providers is advantageous.
Other Requirements:
- Availability for On-Call duties.
