The ENcome group is an independent service provider for the operation of photovoltaic power plants with a focus on Operation and Maintenance (O&M), Technical Asset Management (TAM), as well as Engineering & Advisory services. As a consequence of strong growth, we are looking for a flexible and highly motivated individual to fill the Brisbane based role of Solar Asset Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the interface between clients, the solar farm asset, international internal resources, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders such as investors, developers, grid operator, consultants, suppliers, authorities, etc.
- Managing the O&M contract for the assigned solar farms from a technical and commercial perspective.
- Managing the project delivery work for the assigned solar farms from a technical and commercial perspective.
- Develop a strong relationship with on-site personnel to maximise the safe and continuous operation of assets.
- Ensuring predictive, preventative, and reactive maintenance activities, including technical problem solving, are carried out efficiently for maximum availability and performance of the assets.
- Technical maintenance and maintenance support.
- Monitoring and controlling the technical performance of the assets as required via SCADA and interfacing systems.
- Monitoring and reporting of operational KPIs and analyse data to identify trends and implement measures accordingly.
- Planning, creating, and organising onsite workflow and annual operation plans utilizing the ENcome CMMS system.
- Continuously improving maintenance activities and operational processes.
- Coordinating internal and external resources for additional onsite works.
- Manage site inventory and warranty claims.
- Update and review of site management plans.
- Manage onsite WHS site documents and requirements in close collaboration with the Site Managers and WHS representatives.
- Contributing to the content of the operational reports including customer liaison and reporting.
About You:
- Experience in the field of and passion for renewable energies, preferably large-scale solar photovoltaics installations.
- Proven experience to efficiently execute tasks, as defined by a maintenance plan.
- Demonstrate strong organisation skills with excellent problem solving and effective communication skills with proficient verbal and written English.
- Demonstrate strong software and general IT skills, e.g. proficient in Microsoft Office, exposure to data analytics tools and SCADA systems.
- Experience within institutional investor environment including direct customer interaction.
- Have a demonstrated understanding of contracts and contractual obligations.
- Be strategic in managing maintenance strategies.
- Be reliable, organised and team focused with a tenacious, can-do approach.
- A structured and organised work style.
- Demonstrate care with all works and tasks.
- Have a strong desire to exceeding expectations.
- Willing to travel to clients and projects in regional Australia and occasionally work out of business hours, when required.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Tertiary engineering degree or Relevant Trade Certificate preferred. Commercial education with relevant technical experience acceptable.
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Relevant safety certifications
- Experience in organisational management
- Experience working with trades, technicians, and capability to interface with clients
- Must be a permanent Australian resident with rights to work in Australia
