Solar Design Engineer

Overview:

Ezy Energy is a leading solar installation company. We are looking for a Solar Design Engineer to join our growing team. Your primary responsibility will be to design innovative PV systems, establish key partnerships, and contribute to the overall success of our solar projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimise solar PV systems for residential and commercial projects,
• Conduct on site assessments, shading analysis, and energy yield calculations.
• Develop SLDs and engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements and project objectives.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to build rapport.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in solar to offer valuable insights to clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• Proficiency in PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles and grid connection requirements.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the solar industry.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
