The Role
We are looking to appoint a Project Engineering Consultant to join our Structural & Renewable Energy team based in our office at St Peters, Sydney.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will:
- Work/be involved in multiple fast-paced short-term projects (1-3 months) concurrently.
- Liaise with internal team members with different backgrounds and skillsets to ensure project goals are met.
- Be the main internal contact for the allocated project(s).
- Follow CPP methodology and use the engineering toolkit that is already established.
- Preparing preliminary reports and documentation for all engineering project work.
- Assist with the preparation of the scope and budget based on the client requirements.
- Ensure all engineering project work is completed on time and within budget.
The successful candidate will have:
- Aeronautical, mechanical or civil engineering tertiary qualification, or similar discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience on technical engineering projects, ideally within a consulting environment.
- Good knowledge of solar technology, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Developing computer skills and knowledge of computer programming.
- Understanding of QA systems and procedures, as well as ability to work within Work Health and Safety practices.
