Solar Sales Assistant

Go Sunny Solar is seeking a Solar Sales Assistanttojoin our team on a full-time basis handling outbound sales from warm leads - no cold calling!

Duties & tasks:

• Calling, SMS and Email communications with warm leads
• Opening discussions with potential clients & pitching the benefits of going renewable
• Loading calls into power dialler
• Booking and scheduling over-the-phone consultations with our solar experts
• Strategic calendar bookings for senior team members
• Qualifying new prospects that match with our target demographics
• Improving customer response speed and overall satisfaction 
• General handling of email, attachments, maps, calendars etc.
• Gathering documents for compliance, such as power bills, meter & switchboard photos
• Updating relevant customer information in our Customer Relationship Management system 

Experience & attributes:

• No prior experience is required, though a background in sales, finance, customer service, or admin is advantageous
• Familiarity with telecommunications work is a bonus 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suites (Gmail, Google Calendar) 
• Ability to work proactively as part of a team or independently
• Ability to think outside the box, set & achieve goals
• Adept at shortcutting processes to increase results 
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Local resident (preferred)  & current driver’s license
• Welcoming & confident phone manner
• Consistent work ethic & desire to grow your skills
