Solicitor - Family Law

At Brendan Rothschild Legal Group, we are looking for a lawyer to join our growing team on a permanent full-time basis. We are ideally looking for someone with experience however, we are happy to be open and flexible with the right candidate.

About us

We predominantly handle Family Law matters but also practice in Wills and Estates, Conveyancing, and Criminal Law.

We are located in Ripponlea, a short walk to the train station and also close to some of the best bakeries and cafes in town. We often have team breakfasts and lunches, as a strong team culture is important is to us, particularly one where everyone collectively works together.

About the role 

You will need to be able to:  

• Work on a variety of matters including parenting and property matters;
• Manage their own cases and clients (with guidance and input from the Principal);
• Efficiently prepare Court documents;
• Conduct Mediations; 
• Attend hearings in both the Federal and Family Court of Australia and the Magistrates' Court.
• The ability to identify priorities, meet timelines, be organised, and manage client’s expectations;
• Ability to work and achieve monthly performance targets; and will have an 
• Australian Practising Certificate.

Pay Structure: 

Your pay will depend on your post-admission experience and will be in line with industry standards. We would be happy to discuss these options further if you are successful during the interview stage.
