Position Overview:
Quik Corp is on the hunt for a skilled and experienced SolidWorks Draftsperson with a specialization in Truck Body Design. This role will see you diving deep into intricate design projects, working collaboratively with our dynamic team, and making pivotal contributions to our product line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 3D designs tailored to Truck Body specifications using SolidWorks.
- Collaborate closely with production teams, ensuring designs are optimized for manufacturability.
- Proactively address and triage design issues, ensuring smooth production flow.
- Work on retrospective design projects, updating and improving existing product drawings.
- Provide innovative design solutions for upcoming product builds.
- Contribute to our continuous efforts to adopt and implement best design practices.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, with hands-on experience in 3D Truck Body Design.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks PDM.
- Previous experience in Truck Body or related vehicle design is a significant advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for precision.
