The role:
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect-Facilities / Network Architect for an initial 6 month contract to work across a major HRMIS Program.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on smart facilities components, including physical building requirements, environmental systems, building management systems, security systems, and back-of-house systems.
- Identify network requirements, spanning wired and wireless connectivity, secure messaging, telephony, and cellular connectivity.
- Collaborate with project leadership and Department of Finance Major Capital Projects on pre-tender building design and procurement processes.
- Act as a reference point for project architects to inform and direct managing contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors during implementation.
- Ensure alignment with health standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key experience:
- Knowledge across domains such as passive infrastructure, environmental systems (power & cooling), BMS, facility security, back-of-house systems, network LAN/WAN, telephony/mobile in building services, and paging/messaging.
- Extensive experience in delivery within a healthcare environment is highly desirable.
Desirable Experience:
- Candidates with extensive experience of delivery in a healthcare environment will be prioritized.
