The Role:
As an Events Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our Strategic Communication and Stakeholder Relations team. Reporting to the GM of Strategic Communications, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a diverse range of events and engagement activities. From corporate functions to community events, you will play a pivotal role in representing the Containers for Change brand.
Responsibilities:
✨Plan and manage internal and external events
✨Develop event operational plans and budgets
✨Coordinate with stakeholders and external agencies
✨Manage event staffing and logistics
✨Build strong relationships with stakeholders
✨Identify and implement process improvements
✨Ensure compliance with safety regulations
✨Manage merchandise requirements and print production
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of event coordination experience, showcasing strong organisational and time management skills, along with excellent communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Asana, and design programs is essential, as is the ability to build and maintain relationships.
A current Driver's License and willingness to travel are also required.
