One of Australia’s leading Federal Government Departments is looking to engage a skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join their multidisciplinary team based in their Sydney office. The ideal Solution Architect will be responsible for the ongoing development of systems architecture blueprints for projects across finance domain. The successful Solution Architect will secure a 12-month contract with 12-month extension options partnered a rewarding pay rate and working from home arrangements.
The successful Solution Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Aligning solutions with Agency goals and objectives and Enterprise Architecture reference models, principles, policies, standards, and roadmaps.
- Liaise with the finance team and key solution stakeholders to ensure expected business outcomes are achieved
- Maintain technical oversight and helps solve complex issues arising during project delivery
- Presenting the project solution at approval at the appropriate Governance Councils.
The successful Solution Architect will have experience in the following:
- Experience working on cloud-based projects, including working with assistant technology enabled (Accessibility Compliant) applications.
- Experience leading finance transformation programs and payments systems.
- Balancing project and organisational goals, as well as tactical and strategic drivers.
- Experience in UML and prior experience working on financial projects is desired.
