The successful candidate will:
- Engage with stakeholders on complex solution design(s) across a range of systems managed by the Digital Clearance Service and the Digital Strategy Branch.
- Document Architecture Decision Records, solutions design, and detailed designs and progress these through the relevant governance bodies for approval and oversight.
- Work closely with business and ICT stakeholders to develop high quality architectural artifacts.
- Conduct technical discovery on issues of dependency, integration, and modernization and make recommendations to leadership.
- Ensure solutions developed by the TFTM Program align with enterprise and program level strategies, platforms, and roadmaps.
Essential criteria
- Experience designing solutions ranging from legacy monolithic/batch processing systems to muti-service ecosystems & cloud-native applications
- Experience and/or certification relating to designing solutions for the Microsoft Azure platform, with specific experience in Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure App Service and Azure SQL/SQL MI as highly valued.
- Skills and experience in developing solution and integration architecture, with experience across multiple technologies and platforms.
- Comprehensive written and verbal communications & stakeholder engagement skills & the ability to produce the appropriate artefact for the target audience
- Experience in solution architecture roles on high profile government projects
- Relevant certifications pertaining to public cloud platforms, Oracle applications, integration / microservices, and architecture methods & standards
