Solutions Architect

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are currently looking for an Engineering Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of integrated solutions in the realm of Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) for various Defence applications. You will be responsible for developing architectures and frameworks that facilitate effective communication, coordination, and decision-making within military or other organizational contexts. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing C4 systems that enable effective command and control operations in Defence or other mission-critical environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and architect systems that encompass C4 technologies to meet specific operational requirements.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer and end user product/system needs, challenges, and opportunities.
• Investigate and offer insights on the dynamic operational environment linked to the product/system and technological domain, as well as forecast future operational requirements.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and external organisations to comprehend the present state and future directions of relevant technologies.
• Formulate alternative solutions and conduct thorough assessments to pinpoint the most effective approach.
• Establish solution pathway and formulate comprehensive program and technical strategies.

SKILLS & EXPERINECE NEEDED

• Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 and be ITAR compliant.
• Australian Citizenship is required.
• Must have Bachelor of Engineering.
• Must be familiar and experienced with command, control, communications, and computer systems (C4) within Defence.
• Experience providing solutions or product architect or as a technical lead in engineering for product/system development, ideally with C4 products or systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of established and emerging design methodologies and standards within the C4 domain.
• Experienced collaborating with Land C4 users and customers in Defence.
