The Role:
The Sommelier will:
Curate and manage the restaurant's wine selection, with a focus on Australian, Italian, and French wines. Provide expert wine advice and pairing recommendations to guests, conduct staff training on wine knowledge and service standards. Collaborate with the culinary team to align wine offerings with menu items and maintain the highest level of service and presentation standards.
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive knowledge of Australian, Italian, and French wines.
- Experience as a Sommelier in a fine dining or high-end restaurant setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests.
- Proficiency in inventory management and wine list curation.
- Passion for delivering a superior dining and wine experience.
