Join our team as proud co-custodians of this quintessentially Australian destination in the East Kimberley. The RoleIn this role you will be responsible for providing an efficient and cost-effective food service, with the smooth day-to-day operation in one of our Commercial Kitchens, consisting of a rotating roster over breakfast, lunch & dinner, with consistent superior guest focus at the forefront of all activities. You will work with the Head Chef to produce an unforgettable dining experience.
DutiesEnsure the kitchen complies with sanitation regulations and safety standards
Control and direct food preparation
Work closely with Head Chef to manage and direct kitchen brigade
Working with Head Chef on wastage, stock control, ordering
Ensure a strong relationship with Front of house team
Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience as a Sous ChefFormal trade qualifications in commercial cooking or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills
Proven ability to work within a team and autonomously
Ability to prep and organise ahead
Current First Aid Certificate is highly desirable
