Look no further! We are currently seeking a Sous Chef for our large venue in Perth.
As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food in our kitchen. You will be in charge of quality controlling, checking the sections for freshness and quality, and running the pass on busy days. On quieter days, you will also be working on sections and organizing proper stock rotation and checking deliveries.
In addition to your culinary skills, you will also be responsible for motivating the team and handling some administrative tasks such as food prep, ordering, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and storage areas.
With a busy night serving 100-200 covers, you will be leading a kitchen team of chefs, casuals, and kitchen hands. Our kitchen facilities are top-notch combi ovens, deep fryers, a dishwasher.
This position offers a competitive salary and reports directly to the Executive Chef. We also provide opportunities for career growth, with the potential to move into a Head Chef role.
