Sous Chef, Greengate Hotel, Killara
A fantastic opportunity has come up to be part of an exciting time at one of Sydney's most iconic Pubs. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands on Sous Chef to join our team. The Hotel has 2 outlets serving Pub Classics and modern Australian cuisine and functions with up to 300 guests upstairs, the successful candidate will possess the following:
Minimum 4 years experience as Senior CDP or Junior Sous Chef in a hands on role
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced kitchen
Passionate about food with a proven ability to reach the higher standards and quality
Excellent communication skills
Ability to supervise, inspire and motivate a team to deliver excellent food quality and service
Cost control through effective practices, experience with Cooking the Books
Functions experience an advantage
