We are seeking a Sous Chef for this busy venue located in Coastal Northern Territory.
The role would suit a Chef skilled in bistro and a la carte meal preparation with a flair for presentation and experience with functions & special events. Working with the head chef and a team of chefs & kitchen hands, you will assist the head chef with running the kitchen in a hands on capacity.
This is a family owned venue offering onsite dining facilities, bars and accommodation.
You will work with a great team of chefs producing quality meals for in house guests, locals and visitors to the region.
Outside of work enjoy the Northern Territory lifestyle, beautiful tropical weather all year round. Enjoy mixing with a friendly local community, relax on the beach or enjoy some awesome local fishing.
This is a live in role with discounted accommodation provided.
Duties:
- Assisting the head chef with the running of the kitchen in a hands on capacity
- Prep and cooking of bistro & a la carte meals (2 outlets)
- Breakfast / Lunch or dinner shifts
- Preparation & cooking for functions and special events
- Working under the head chef with a team of chefs & kitchen hands
- Maintaining a clean kitchen environment
- Working as part of a team
