Outback Stores is looking for a Range and Space Coordinator to join our Outback family.
As a Range and Space Coordinator you will be part of a dedicated team who provide high level of Merchandise and Stock support to our remote communities.
About the role:
Outback Stores is searching for a vibrant individual who is looking to support the community store managers through the coordination of cross functional communication between the Merchandise team, Store and various stakeholders. You will report to the Merchandise Manager, supporting the team in with the development and implementation of best practice range management initiatives and compliance, enabling Outback Stores to deliver the right range of products for each store that delivers on sales and profit targets. The role is also accountable for the maintenance and accuracy of ranging, space profiles and related planograms in Group Controller/HQ and SharePoint.
This role is ideal for someone who has operated in a merchandise environment and would like to share their knowledge and experience.
The position requires a highly organised and motivated individual, with a passion for process and continuous improvement.

Your key accountabilities will be:
- Oversees the maintenance of the core, extended and optional range by supplier ensuring all ranging from suppliers is accurate and updated.
- Liaises with suppliers to ensure range updates are received on time and in correct formats.
- Develops and maintains accurate store space profiles.
- Assists in evaluating market and store information together with historical data and forward trends to proactively manage range, maximising sales, and minimising shrink.
- Assist with the development of procedures and reporting to ensure range and space integrity by store.
- Conducts store audits to ensure Outback Stores range is compliant and available in relevant stores.
- Maintains healthy communications with stores and internal stakeholders throughout Outback Stores.
About you:
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- High level of computer skills with experience in Grocery Manager desirable
- Organised and self-motivated
- Able to work within a team environment
- Two years’ plus administration or finance experience.
- Proven experience in retail.
- Ability to analyse data.
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft suite.
- Experience in Grocery Manager POS advantageous but not essential
- Indigenous heritage highly valued.
