Spare Parts Interpreter

Blue Diamond is a leading industrial equipment supplier specializing in Generators and Air Compressors and other industrial equipment.

We are looking for a motivated Spare Parts Interpreter to join our team and grow along with our company. 

Primary Duties will be:

1. Actively promote, source, sell and supply parts to our valued customers.
2. Using specialist knowledge, interpret customer (both internal and external) parts requirements via phone, email and counter.
3. Offer prompt, effective and friendly customer service to increase customer satisfaction.
4. Order parts from suppliers, preparing and processing documents such as purchase orders, invoices and inventory documents.
5. Assist with parts warehousing, which includes stock take activities
6. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in and around the work environment.

The suitable applicant will have:

1. Strong mechanical aptitude 
2. Experience in similar role within related industry (small engines, generators, lighting towers, air compressors)
3. A current forklift ticket license (preferred).
4. A positive can-do attitude and be a team player.
5. Good time management and task prioritisation skills.
6. The ability to work both autonomously and be part of a team.
7. Hard working and willingness to work additional hours to ensure jobs are completed on time.
8. Strong focus on general safety standards and work methods.
