We have an excellent opportunity for a Spare Parts Interpreter to join our busy workshop in Innisfail. You will be part of a successful team where your day will be varied and hands-on with heavy commercial vehicle parts interpreting activities.
Reporting to the new Business Manager, the role will see you interpret, process and support customer SPARE PARTS requirements. Your strong customer service and problem-solving skills will allow you to excel in this role. You will leverage on a variety of communication tools and techniques to ensure prompt turnaround to SPARE PARTS inquiries and orders.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide parts interpreting services & support to our workshop team and customers
- Prepare customer invoices, external and internal sales and data entry into parts computer
- Arrange courier pick-ups and deliveries
- Control stock replenishments
- Identify problems relating to the product and process and make recommendations
Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in a similar role within heavy vehicle industry highly advantageous
- Customer focused with the ability to liaise with internal and external customers
- Experience in inventory control and maintaining stock levels
- Understanding of Parts Sales & supply chain activities
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Skills in Microsoft Office
- Experience in COSTAR or similar would be advantageous
- Ability to learn varied sales and parts programmes
- Current manual driver’s licence
