The business is now looking to expand its production team in Cairns with the inclusion of a Spatial Analyst with a strong airborne LiDAR and Imagery background to ensure Photomapping's client delivery expectations are maintained to the highest of standards.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Geopositioning
- GNSS/IMU processing & assessment of processing accuracy
- LiDAR point cloud and Imagery ingestion and data validation QAQC
- Flight line matching, application of geoid models and datum transformations
- Tile preparation of data
- Aerotriangulation & orthorectification of imagery
- Point Cloud Product Generation
- Point cloud classification
- Raster surface model generation
- Vector data generation
- QAQC of 3rd party produced dataset
- Develop scripting to optimize product generation, QAQC and reporting
- General
- Management of processing timelines
- Perform quality checks to verify accuracy metrics, data coverage and quality of derived products
- Prepare internal and external reports
- Ensure quality of data checks are performed
- Ensure datasets are adequality handled, archived and backed up
Qualifications & experience
- University Graduate with a Geospatial related qualifications
- Science, Physics, Mathematics with relevant post-graduate qualifications
- Appropriate military or industry training and experience is also acceptable
