Wanted: Specialist geospatial professional who excels at building relationships!

About the role 

Landgate’s Data Collaboration team is a diverse group of people responsible for maintaining reliable data sharing platforms including Data WA and the Shared Location Information Platform (SLIP) that enable the access and sharing of public sector location information. As the Spatial Data & Technology Principal you will lead the development and implementation of location information strategy across WA Government.

You will play a key role in shaping the State’s Open Data Policy and lead its implementation for public sector location data in collaboration with the Office of Digital Government. You will also connect the WA public sector with the national geospatial forum (via ANZLIC and ICSM) to lead the standardisation and governance of spatial and non-Spatial Data captured for discovery and access through Spatial Data platforms, Data WA and the SLIP.
