Ventia have a long partnership with Australian Defence and provide a variety of infrastructure maintenance for the bases across Australia. As such we are seeking a Spatial Data Team leader, to lead our team of Spatial Coordinators who ensure all project Spatial Data deliverables are compliant with Defence Standards/specifications.We are offering

- Lead the Spatial Coordinator team.
- Lead in the Spatial Data collection and analysis function.
- Ensure Spatial Data compliance and oversee the review, validate and upload processes for Project Asset Data
- Oversee the extraction of Spatial Data from Defence Information Systems to assist with the delivery of Defence Estate Works projects
- Assist with the training of staff and stakeholders in the use of Defence systems to access and update relevant spatial information.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to establish feedback loops on Spatial Data validation effectiveness.
- Asset validation, aligning GEMS data with spatial plans
- Document control
- Project close-out
- Tertiary qualifications in construction, design, engineering, surveying or similar experience
- Previous experience using AutoCAD.
- Prev Exp using Defence applications e.g NIMS, GEMS, Objective desirable but not required
- Other GIS applications such ESRI is desirable
- Understanding of National Construction Code and Australian Standards.
- Ability to read and comprehend architectural plans.
- High level of computer skills including Excel / Word / Outlook & Ms Teams & sharepoint
- Australian Citizen
