Position – Specialised Cleaning Technician

Quayclean Australia is the largest provider of cleaning, hygiene and resource recovery services to Stadiums, Racecourses, Leisure facilities, Government departments and Private Schools.

We are looking for a Full-Time Specialised Cleaning Technician. This position involves mobile work spanning in Sydney Metro area. 

We are seeking an expert in Periodic Works, including hard floor maintenance, high-pressure washing, carpet shampooing, and building washdowns, among others.

This is a rare opportunity for someone with excellent time management skills to secure a position with a reputable company. Your new work van comes fully equipped and is a pleasure to drive. You will receive comprehensive support from our Head Office team in all areas, including Administration, Safety, and Operational expertise.

• Working with Regional Managers to schedule all periodical cleaning tasks
• Liaising with clients for site access
• Performing periodical cleaning and operating machinery such as Polivacs, walk-behind sweepers/scrubbers, high-pressure washers, carpet cleaners, and conducting strip & seal and building washdowns
• Organising timely and ongoing repairs and maintenance of all machinery as needed

• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally. Strong listening skills are essential
• Proven history of excelling within a dynamic team environment and the ability to work autonomously
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Outcome-focused and driven by high standards
• Previous experience operating cleaning machinery; this role is not suitable for beginners

• CAR LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL
• Valid WWCC  and Police check
• Ability to work flexible hours, as most tasks will be completed after hours and possibly over weekends
• Sound understanding of periodical cleaning and machine operation, including previous experience with polivacs, walk-behind sweepers/scrubbers, high-pressure washers, carpet cleaners, and strip & seals
• Strong work ethic with outstanding time management skills
• High standards of work, cleanliness, and attention to detail

• Understanding of Environmental Health & Safety Management and a commitment to safe working practices
• EWP license preferred but not essential
