Specialist Allied Health Practice - Casual Receptionist

Who we are:

We are an established Specialist Allied Health Practice seeking a friendly, self-motivated, and patient-focused Casual Receptionist. 

What we are looking for:

Office/Reception experience preferred

Previous experience using Cliniko software highly regarded

Willingness to learn and ability to follow instructions and meet set standards

Ability to be Patient-focused

Excellent communication skills with a positive and friendly manner 

Exceptional level of accuracy and attention to detail

Reliable and flexible

Ability to multitask and show initiative

Can work as part of a team and individually

Maintain absolute confidentiality about patients and the practice information

Must have a Qld drivers licence

Your day to day:

Greet patients, take payments, and booking appointments

Answering phone calls and providing information and costs regarding services

Take accurate notes to pass on messages

Ability to process Hicaps and Medicare rebates electronically

Assisting in medical procedures when needed

Scanning Documents

Opening and Closing Clinic, Banking Reconciliations

Stocking up Doctors' Rooms

Cleaning and Waste Management

Supporting and assisting other staff in a range of administration and ad-hoc tasks

Be able to work 15 hours per week - Monday & Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm and increase hours as the business grows

Ability to cover sick leave at short notice and holiday leave Monday - Friday 9.00am-5.00pm, Brisbane & Gold Coast

Award wage for casual Support services employee level 1 Health Professionals and Support Services Award [MA000027]. For the right candidate this could change to permanent part-time after a 3 months’ probation period.
