- Full Time and Part Time positions considered.
- Salary Classification: Pharmacist Grade 3, Year 1 -2.
- Remuneration: $64.23 - $65.97 per hour + superannuation +
- Provides ward pharmacy services to Medical Oncology areas.
- Participates in clinical ward rounds with the Medical Oncology team.
- Provides advice on drug dosages, actions and interactions with special emphasis on cytotoxic and oncological therapy.
- Participates in the dispensing, preparation and reconstitution of cytotoxic chemotherapy for inpatients and outpatients as required
- Shares responsibility for the supervision of the preparation of reconstituted cytotoxic chemotherapy for inpatients and outpatients by unregistered pharmacy staff
- Demonstrated effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Eligible for registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to practice as a Pharmacist.
- Minimum of 3 years of practicing as a registered Hospital Pharmacist, with experience in Medical Oncology/haematology pharmacy
