Our Group Enablement Teams are the Technology, Business Enablement, Value Chain, and Replenishment experts developing new capabilities and platforms for a better retail future. We're the crucial link between our stores and the stock they need, the IT engine moving our business forward, the strategic connectors streamlining the way we work, and the forward thinkers using tech to transform the retail experience. What you'll do
You will play a critical role within the team responsible for the performance and optimisation of the Service Continuityprocesses at Woolworths. This role will support the function by ensuring our IT Services remain reliable, available and enhanced.
- Perform IT Service Impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outages or disasters
- Design, maintain and communicate service continutiy testing schedules for identified business critical systems to ensure ongoing service provision during disasters or similar events
- Schedule, activate, observe and report on simulated DR exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of plans and define amendments as necessary
- Support the integration of Service Continuity plans with the broader organisational business continuity plan (BCP) thereby avoiding conflicts and optimising available resources
- Assess the impact of changes to systems, applications and infrastructure to determine requirements for IT Service Continuity
What you'll bring
You will be a natural planner, always looking ahead and balancing this with the on day to day requirements. You will enjoy collaborating and succeeding as part of a team. A natural at building relationships with stakeholders, you will be a strong communicator and influencer,
- Previous experience as a Disaster recovery specialist
- Solid experience with Disaster Recovery testing processes
- Proven communication and stakeholder management skills
- A passion to achieve and deliver as aprt of a team
- Experience using ServiceNOW or an equivent Service Management product is ideal
- ITIL - Service Management / Process Design experience
