YOUR ROLE
You'll be managing personal injury and property damage claims under a broad variety of insurance products. This means managing claims from lodgement through to completion while making sure you provide exceptional customer-service to internal and external stakeholders. In this role you will process claims in an efficient solution focused manner whilst also adhering to financial and reserving principles.
You'll support the achievement of IAG's objective of being a leader in the intermediated insurance industry. As a Liability Claims Consultant, you'll manage and maintain information to ensure compliance and customer requirements are met in a timely manner. In addition, you will be a leader to colleagues and contribute to the Culture of IAG by role modelling appropriate behaviour at all times and imbedding the IAG WAY.

• 12-month - Fixed Term

ABOUT YOU

• Building relationships is your strength, you have a natural ability to maintain relationships with peers, customers and manage business partners.

• Strong written and verbal skills and the ability to negotiate both litigated and non-litigated claims.
• Ideally have 3+ years' experience within the insurance industry or experience in legal or regulatory environments.
• Ability to independently manage Liability or complex claims; Insurance policy analysis experience is highly desirable, though not mandatory.
• Ability to work closely and collaborate with a team of likeminded professionals.
